so people have been asking me if I’m flattered. yes of course i’m flattered. i mean i’ve been working on dport7 for a while now, working to get members and keep interesting content flowing from the bowels of this internet out post. it’s been said to copy someone’s appearance is the highest form of allegiance and i can do nothing but thank the young pop princes for adopting the new official hair style of the dport7 staff. it was risky when i took the clippers to my own scalp but the risk hold 10 fold for miss spears. people keep asking me if i like the fact that she’s showing the world her dependance on dport7 and i can only answer that i’m honored and “lucky” to have a member with such star power. if nothing else i feel as if dport7 will give the young mother something to share with her two young children. the site has been a father figure to confused teen princes of the past and we are proud to be the future foundation for the teen rehab stars of the next generation. if you boil it down i think we can all agree that i look a bit better in such a style but miss spears’s head may still be in shock.
so apparently i’m on a mad dash of content before the end of the year. and it’s all for you dport7 faithful… yesterday i went to the new york boat show with the good friend of dport7 jon the jew and our friend virginia. why the boat show? i have no idea they said it would be fun. i was still kinda sick so i couldn’t come up with an argument. we saw a lot of boats, made a few new friends and found the elusive kitten storage in a 40 foot yacht. the video below details a special moment i had with a wheelie cart at the boat show… it had nothing to do with boats but it put the sunshine in my heart.
after the show we all made our way back to my place in brooklyn (my first house guests) we drank the pbr and talked jon into using my clippers to shave his head just like it do… (i took some video and i’ll post it if anyone wants to see it) watched some HD and then got the the G train to williamsburg so test out a new little bar called Levee. i had to cut out early knowing that if i continued the sickness from the last few days my come back to reclaim my new years enthusiasm… check out the SLIDE for shots from the day.
ladies and gentlemen check it out i got tired of making my hair jump through hoops and just went for the big buzz. no more puff no more hair products just a buzz cut shadow of what used to be. as we have seen throughout the years my hair has taken may forms. i think this will be it’s final form and to be honest i think in a few weeks i’ll be used to it. The people at work all had quite a reaction. i mean it is a drastic change. i never understand though why people feel the need to act like a persons hair or lack there of makes a difference. like i said it was kind of a shocker so i guess you can’t blame people. the next step is to buy some clippers to maintain it and see how that works out. so far the reactions have been pretty positive but people tend to side on saying things nicely. rather than tell you, you look like a tool. anyway decide for yourself.
